Job summary

Navicent Health Medical Center is seeking a full-time Monitor Technologist to provide continuous telemetry monitoring, document findings, and ensure equipment operates correctly. The role requires a high school diploma and completion of a dysrhythmia course during the first week of hire, with a dysrhythmia test during orientation.

The position involves 36 hours per week (7am–7pm), every other weekend, and shared holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous telemetry monitoring is established and documentation is maintained.
• Ensure monitoring equipment is functioning correctly.
• Communicate dysrhythmias or rhythm changes in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge and skills related to dysrhythmia monitoring.
• Participate in quality improvement projects.
• Support age/developmentally appropriate care per guidelines.
• Promote efficient use of fiscal resources.
