Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center in Macon, GA is seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join our care teams. We offer 12-hour shifts across days and nights in Full-time, Part-time, and PRN roles, with generous sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Engage in evidence-based care, participate in governance and quality initiatives, and deliver safe, patient-centered care across the continuum. RN licensing, BLS, and 1 year of clinical nursing experience are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice in Georgia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Assesses, plans, diagnoses, and evaluates nursing care with the team.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and effective communication with families and team.
• Document accurately in the EHR and adhere to policies.
• May float to other units within the service area to meet needs.
