Job summary

Summa Health System – Barberton Campus is seeking a registered nurse for the 4S Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit. The role is full-time with 36 hours weekly, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., every other weekend and holidays.

The unit cares for adult patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and complex medical management. Ideal candidates hold a BSN, have Ohio RN licensure, and ACLS certification within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN accepted but must obtain BSN within 3 years of employment
• Current Ohio RN license in good standing
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire
• Experience in critical care, progressive care, telemetry or related units preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and coordinate delivery of care for adult patients
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms to guide treatment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a team
• Support pathways for credentialing, certifications and professional development
