Keck Medicine of USC’s USC Verdugo Hills Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to support the Chief Nursing Officer in leading the patient care team, ensuring safety, recovery and comfort through the nursing process and education plans. You will collaborate with managers and departments to deliver high-quality nursing services and meaningful outcomes.

The role requires California RN licensure, BSN preferred, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS).

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from Registered Nurse Program.
• BSN preferred (if not upon hire, will obtain within 5 years preferred).
• 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• California Registered Nurse License required.
• Certification in clinical specialty or management desired.

Aufgaben

• Assist charge nurse with planning delivery of patient care for the shift.
• Precepting and competency validation of new hires and procedures.
• Teaching nursing students.
• Directing and delegating to RNs, LVNs, CNAs as needed.
• Coordinating assigned team and communicating expectations to staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement and unit service growth.
