Job summary

Luminis Health seeks a registered nurse to support high-quality patient care. You will apply the nursing process, assess patient learning needs, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include teaching patients and families, engaging in quality improvement activities, and ensuring accurate documentation. Licensure in Maryland and BLS are required; ACLS & chemotherapy/immunotherapy credentials may be required depending on department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN completion within 5 years of hire.
• Current RN license with Maryland Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required for health provider.
• ACLS/chemotherapy-immunotherapy related credentials may be department-specific.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates nursing knowledge and applies nursing process for unit patients.
• Assesses learning needs of patients and families; develops teaching plans.
• Participates in quality improvement and risk management activities.
• Leads and delegates patient care while ensuring accurate real-time documentation.
