Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care on a designated unit. The role requires current Maryland RN licensure, BLS, and department-specific ACLS or PALS certification as applicable.

The nurse will apply the nursing process, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN required within 5 years of date of hire.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing or equivalent local licensing authority.
• BLS - American Heart Association Health Provider.
• ACLS/PALS as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as a member of the health care team.
• Demonstrate clinical nursing skills and knowledge in unit-specific care.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Assess patient/family learning needs and provide teaching.
• Document care and assessments accurately in the patient record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.
