Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and personal care under RN guidance.
• Performs specified technical skills for physical, mental health, and social needs under RN supervision.
• Documents care provided and reports patient observations to the RN.
• Adheres to safe patient handling policies and time-management requirements.
• Maintains cleanliness and readiness of patient care areas and supplies.
• Receives delegated tasks in compliance with the five rights of delegation.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
