Job summary

Emerus in Rockwall, Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a 16-bed hospital with 8 ER and 8 inpatient beds. The role focuses on promoting safety, quality and efficient care for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has telemetry/ICU experience, strong cardiac care skills, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while supporting short-term stabilization and ventilation needs as required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Experience with high-acuity inpatient care and telemetry/ICU settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific nursing care for inpatient units.
• Follow physician orders and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques in care delivery.
• Collect specimens and perform routine lab testing per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers; prepare equipment for procedures.
