Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. seeks an electronic technician for telemetry ground station systems in New York. You will operate, calibrate, and repair telemetry equipment, provide IT and network support, and maintain documentation per SOPs and CDRL requirements.

The role requires an AS degree or two-year technical schooling and 3+ years of related experience; familiarity with test equipment and safety practices is essential. Travel and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• AS Degree in Electronic Technology or two-year technical school, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with telemetry, radar, or radio comms systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of PC platforms and network/server OS.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and repair Telemetry Ground Station equipment.
• Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, networking, and maintenance.
• Integrate hardware and software applications for operational use.
• Perform routine launch operational checks per SOPs.
• Generate test documentation and maintain logs and schedules.
• Interpret audits and identify maintenance issues with management.
• Support safety culture and safe work practices.
• Complete assigned training and assist with training others.
• Develop and maintain procedures per PWS and CDRL requirements.
