Job summary

Montclair Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Telemetry Department to support patient care during night shifts. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in charge of the unit.

Requirements include a current CNA certificate, BLS certification, knowledge of medical terminology, and ideally six months of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
