Prime Healthcare is seeking a Telemetry CNA at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. This role supports patients needing cardiac monitoring, collaborating with RNs in a telemetry unit. Part-time position with 12-hour Day shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

The selected candidate will hold an active CNA certification, BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and prefer at least six months in acute care. Comprehensive benefits are offered, along with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsabilités

• Measure and document vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation)
• Observe patients for changes in condition and report findings to the RN
• Observe cardiac monitors and report irregularities to the nursing staff
• Ensure telemetry leads and equipment are properly placed and functioning
• Act as a liaison between patients and the nursing team

We are seeking aTelemetryCNA,sometimes referred to as aCertified Nursing Assistant(CNA).TheCertified Nursing Assistant in our telemetry unit playsan important rolein the care of patients who require continuous monitoring of their heart and vital signs. Our Telemetry units typically care for patients with cardiac conditions, post-surgical needs, or other medical issues requiring close monitoring. Our CNA’s provide essential support to patients under close cardiac monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Measure and document vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation)
• Observe patients for any changes in condition, such as increased discomfort, difficulty breathing, or changes in mental status, and report findings to the RN
• Observe cardiac monitors and reporting any irregularities to the nursing staff
• Ensure telemetry leads and equipment are properly placed and functioning
• Act as a liaison between patients and the nursing team

Qualifications

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.

2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
