Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Telemetry Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to influence patient care through collaborative leadership, direct management, and participation in hospital councils and national nursing initiatives.

The CNC ensures high quality, patient-centered care and guides nursing teams, aligning with policies to support outcomes and departmental performance. This role emphasizes staff development, throughput optimization, and a patient-first philosophy across shifts.

Qualifications

• RN (Registered Nurse) license required.
• BSN required.
• ACLS and BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience plus Charge RN or Supervisor RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Implements nursing strategies including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Recommends and implements courses of action for training, development, and performance evaluations.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management according to patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and equipment/supplies management.
