The CNC directs, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s vision to support an exceptional patient experience and clinical performance.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and clinical leadership skills required.
• Experience in coordinating nursing care and staff supervision desirable.
• No travel required; possible for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and quality.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of patient care quality with management.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies like rounds to improve engagement.
• Recommends staffing actions, training and performance evaluations.
