Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Telemetry Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to lead high-quality, patient-centered care during the shift. You will collaborate with the management team to monitor, coordinate and optimize nursing care and serve as a resource to staff.

In this role, you will participate in admission/discharge processes, staff scheduling, training, and service improvements while upholding the hospital's mission and patient experience standards.

Qualifications

  • ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
  • BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
  • RN (Registered Nurse) licensure required.
  • BSN degree preferred or required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in collaboration with management.
  • Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
  • Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
  • Help operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement and patient experiences.
  • Provide guidance on interviewing, selecting, and training staff, and support performance evaluations.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and labor management.
  • Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
