BJC HealthCare in O'Fallon, Missouri, is seeking a Telemetry Charge Nurse (RN) for a full-time position on a 31-bed cardiac telemetry unit. The role requires 2–5 years of RN experience and telemetry background, with sign-on eligibility and day shift availability.

The RN will lead care on a telemetry unit, collaborate with the interprofessional team, and participate in care coordination, quality improvement, and staff mentorship as part of the BJC Career Ladder.

Qualifications

• RN license required (active) with 2–5 years of RN experience.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) with 5–10 years experience.
• Must have experience on a telemetry unit or cardiac care setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization to ambulatory care.
• Leads development and implementation of complex care plans with interprofessional team.
• Advances evidence-based practices through journal clubs and practice change.
• Evaluates patient and family experience to improve satisfaction and quality of care.
• Works as safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe practice.
