Qualifications

• RN licensure in Arizona (or eligible) and current BLS/ACLS credentials are required or must be obtained within 6 months.
• BSN or higher nursing degree required or equivalent.
• American Heart Association BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe, evidence-based nursing care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Assess patient conditions with vitals, labs, and tests to guide care decisions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and follow chain of command.
• Delegate tasks appropriately based on patient needs and staff capabilities.
• Work effectively as part of a team and respect cultural differences in care.
• Contribute to a patient-centered environment focused on safety and quality.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence‑based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Recognizes limits of scope of practice, seeks multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizes appropriate resources, and follows chain of command.
• Delegates tasks based on the needs of the patient, potential for harm, patient stability, task complexity, and outcome predictability within the scope of skill set and practice.
• Participates as a team member by utilizing team skills effectively on a daily basis.
• Uses knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs.

Job Requirements

Required

• ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent
• Registered Nurse: AZ
• American Heart Association BLS
• American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months

Preferred

• One year recent acute care experience
• Bachelors of Science Nursing
