Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse in Chandler, AZ. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ICU, performing critical assessments, procedures, and care planning within an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an AZ or Compact RN license, ADN or diploma, 1 year of RN experience, and BLS/ACLS eligibility with AHA certification. Dignity Health/CRMC culture emphasizes compassionate care and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Delivers comprehensive, safe, and evidence-based nursing care to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities.
• Maintains accountability for ethical practice and escalates issues as needed.
• Advocates for patient needs with holistic care.
• Monitors patient status and responds promptly to clinical changes.
• Uses SBAR to communicate with physicians and team members.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN): AZ or Compact license
• One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma, or foreign equivalent
• American Heart Association
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire or transfer

Preferred

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
• One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

$35.00 - $58.63 /hour
