Dignity Health is seeking a Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality care, performing critical assessments, and implementing care plans within an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have an RN license in AZ or a compact jurisdiction, with at least 1 year of RN experience. A BSN is preferred. An Education Benefit program supports employee education and loan relief opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in AZ or Compact jurisdiction.
• One year RN experience.
• ADN, Diploma, or foreign equivalent.
• American Heart Association.Basic Life Support.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired outcomes.
• Organize and prioritize patient care activities.
• Demonstrate accountability and ethical practice.
• Advocate for patient needs with holistic care.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition with timely actions.
• Communicate findings to physicians using SBAR and conduct bedside nurse-to-nurse reports.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN): AZ or Compact license
• One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma, or foreign equivalent
• American Heart Association
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire or transfer

Preferred

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
• One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
