Job summary

Dignity Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced, 443-bed acute care hospital. You will perform assessments, provide evidence-based nursing care, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold AZ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and have 1 year of acute care experience or stronger.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in AZ (Arizona)
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• ACLS certification within 6 months of start date
• One year of acute care experience (preferred)
• BSN or higher degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients.
• Identify and respond to changes in patient conditions (labs, vitals, tests) promptly.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and follow chain of command.
• Delegate tasks based on patient needs, stability, and risk.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Recognizes limits of scope of practice, seeks multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizes appropriate resources, and follows chain of command.
• Delegates tasks based on the needs of the patient, potential for harm, patient stability, task complexity, and outcome predictability within the scope of skill set and practice.
• Participates as a team member by utilizing team skills effectively on a daily basis.
• Uses knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs.
