Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse. You will register patients, schedule appointments, and perform clinical duties at the General Hospital location.

Coordinate with CAMC departments to optimize patient flow and act as a liaison to promote the TeleMedicine program, working the standard days schedule as a 1.0 FTE employee.

Qualifications

RN licensure required.
BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Job Summary

Demonstrate competent clinical skills; utilize critical thinking to identify and meet needs: achieve positive patient outcomes through group process: display leadership traits that contribute to attainment of patient and departmental goals: assist with unit QI/research projects; identify actual ethical/legal issues and implement appropriate nursing applications. (Competent). Ability to register patients and communicate effectively with multiple providers.

Perform as a “sales liaison” to help promote the CAMC TeleMedicine program.

The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.

Education

Associate's Degree (Required) Experience: 2 Years of RN experienceSubstitution: May substitute Formal Nursing Program for the Associate Degree
