A Telematics System Specialist provides problem-solving skills and is responsible for assisting in project management, implementation, and advancement maintenance of telematics solutions, including supporting mobile devices, SAAS-provided solutions, and general troubleshooting. This role works to improve the technology that connects fleet and field operations, supports users, improves data quality, and connects fleet information with business systems, including Command Series, APEX, Fuel Master, HCSS, and telematics platforms such as Samsara and TrackIT. The position works closely with internal customers and the IT team to formulate solutions that meet internal customer needs.
