Job summary

GemOne is seeking a Telematics Integration Specialist to join our team in Olathe, KS. The role blends hardware engineering and advanced technical support, bridging R&D with real-world machine implementation, including forklifts and other industrial equipment. Travel and field testing form a core part of the job.

You will document electrical architectures, capture CAN traces, prototype harnesses, and support customers remotely and on-site to ensure top-tier fleet management integration.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical diagrams and industrial equipment.
• Ability to capture CAN data and document electrical architectures.
• Strong writing and communication to create machine documentation.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% to customer sites and facilities.
• Hands-on wiring harness design and hardware validation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites, test facilities, or yards to perform CAN data captures and document machines' electrical architecture.
• Create structured machine documentation for CAN bus, connectors, and mounting positions for R&D and TAM teams.
• Design and refine wiring harnesses for various industrial machines to enable IoT device integration.
• Support R&D and software teams in hardware and firmware validation from prototype to release.
• Serve as Tier 2 TAM, assisting dealers and end-users remotely and on-site.
