Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America is hiring a Telematics Software Engineer to design, implement, and sustain C++ software for embedded Linux-based telematics devices. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver connected solutions and support field deployments.

Responsibilities include full software lifecycle, code reviews, estimation, and collaboration with hardware, test, deployment, and systems engineering teams to ensure reliability across telemetry platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Professional experience in embedded software or telematics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain C++ applications on embedded Linux systems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle for telematics and IoT devices.
• Perform peer code reviews and contribute to coding standards.
