Job summary

Mental Health Matters LLC is seeking licensed or supervised therapists to join our telehealth team, providing individual and family therapy to personal injury patients on a 1099 contract basis. Therapists will maintain EHR records, conduct intake assessments, and develop trauma-informed treatment plans in collaboration with clients.

Evening hours are often required, and compensation is paid per completed visit based on licensure level and caseload.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, clinical mental health counseling, or related field.
• Telehealth certification/training.
• Supervision required unless fully licensed as an independent therapist.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current electronic health records (EHR) of patient interactions.
• Perform intake including diagnostic assessments for new patients.
• Diagnose psychological, behavioral, and emotional disorders and develop a treatment plan accordingly.
• Help individuals and families navigate trauma in a supportive, empathic, collaborative way.
• Help patients identify personal coping mechanisms and formulate strategies for daily conflicts.
• Manage caseload and develop appropriate treatment services for each patient.
• Assist patients with finding resources such as housing and financial assistance.
