Job summary

Mental Health Matters LLC is seeking licensed or supervisor-eligible therapists to provide counseling and psychiatric management on a 1099 basis. Remote-friendly schedules allow evening hours and flexible caseloads, with tiered per-visit compensation.

Candidates should have strong EHR skills and a compassionate, collaborative approach to trauma-informed care. Responsibilities include intake, diagnosis, treatment planning, and connecting patients with housing and financial resources.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, clinical mental health counseling, or another closely related counseling program.
• Telehealth certification/training
• Demonstrated personable and compassionate personality
• Comfortable treating patients 3 years+
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Must have a supervisor unless fully licensed as independent therapist
• Ability to work evening hours

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and current electronic health records (EHR) of patient interactions
• Perform intake including diagnostic assessments for new patients.
• Diagnose psychological, behavioral, and emotional disorders in accordance with diagnostic criteria and develop a treatment plan accordingly
• Help individuals and families navigate the breadth of their traumatic experience in a supportive, empathic and collaborative way.
• Help patients identify their personal coping mechanisms and assist them in formulating strategies for managing daily conflicts.
• Manage patients on a caseload and develop appropriate treatment services for each individual situation
• Assist patients with finding resources to help support their progress, such as referring them to housing services, financial assistance and other benefits
