Covenant Village in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the occupational therapy program. You will assist the OT in planning, evaluation, and directing therapy activities, and facilitate Telehealth sessions to ensure timely evaluations, notes and discharges.

The role requires an Associate degree (OTA), a current Ohio license, and the ability to work with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Associate degree from an accredited program conferring the title of Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered Ohio OTA license.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy procedures and practice.
• Leadership and supervisory ability to work with staff.
• Willingness to seek new methods and continuously improve services.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning, development, organization and evaluation of therapy activities.
• Facilitate Telehealth services to complete evaluations, recertifications, notes and discharges.
• Communicate with related staff when planning therapy services and maintain documentation.
• Provide individualized OT services and prepare equipment and home program guidance.
• Ensure accurate billing and timely completion of daily notes per standards.
• Report questions or concerns to the Director of Rehabilitation and supervising OT.
