Placements24 is seeking an experienced Telecoms Infrastructure Manager to lead operations in Paarl, overseeing strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company\'s telecommunications infrastructure. You will direct a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring reliability, scalability and security while aligning with business goals.

The role requires 8+ years in telecom network management, strong leadership, and expertise in fiber optics, wireless, IP networking and VoIP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications network management and operations.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optics, wireless, IP networking, and VoIP.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of network engineers and technicians.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for telecommunications infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
• Oversee day-to-day network operations for maximum uptime and performance.
• Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement of equipment and services.
