Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Telecommunications Technician to support NORAD ITW/AA and NISSC II at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. The role involves monitoring and maintaining networks, cryptographic equipment, and end-user devices, with 24/7 support and on-site travel.

Required TS/SCI eligibility, 6 months related experience, IAT II certification, and willingness to travel up to 10%. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, with a day shift and no remote work.

Qualifications

• Top Secret with SCI eligibility required.
• 6 months of directly related experience with telephone maintenance or similar systems.
• 1 year of work history.
• IAT Level II Certification with CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND or SSCP as valid options.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, install, and maintain networks and end-user equipment/peripherals.
• Respond to user requests for assistance and perform on-the-spot diagnostics.
• Upgrade platforms, train staff, and maintain daily logs.
• Provide 24/7 maintenance support including cryptographic equipment (KIV-7M/KG-175) and Secure Communications peripherals.
• Update networks/equipment and manage inventory; keep ticketing system current.
