Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Telecommunications Technician to support NORAD ITW/AA and NISSC II operations at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. The role involves installing, monitoring, and maintaining networks, end-user devices, and cryptographic equipment, with on-site work and potential travel up to 10%.

Candidates must have Top Secret with SCI eligibility, 6 months related experience, 1 year work history, and IAT Level II certification.

Qualifications

• Clearance TS/SCI eligibility required.
• 6 months of related experience in telephone maintenance or similar systems.
• 1 year of work history.
• IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, install, and maintain networks and end-user equipment/peripherals.
• Respond to user requests for assistance.
• Perform on-the-spot diagnostics and apply corrections; train users.
• Provide upgrades to platforms; maintain daily logs and inventory.
• Provide 24/7 maintenance support for network, cryptographic equipment, and related instruments.
