Job summary

Din Development Corporation seeks a Telecommunications Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage voice and data networks across LAN/WAN and wireless systems, with focus on reliability and performance.

Three years of experience, secret clearance, and certifications (CCNA, CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+). This remote role supports nationwide client networks within a Navajo Nation–owned company.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant telecommunications networking experience.
• Secret clearance with High Risk, Critical Sensitive, Tier 5/SSBI investigation at time of proposal.
• IAT Level II CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CCNA Security, CCNA certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and support telecommunications networks for voice, data, video, and wireless services.
• Support design and management of voice networks, LAN/WAN data networks, wireless networks, and network management systems.
• Analyze, plan, program, and implement moderately complex telecommunications requirements.
• Develop designs and plans for installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from project inception through completion.
• Analyze communications problems and the characteristics of information to be transported.
• Define system requirements and develop network specifications.
• Coordinate with information systems professionals to ensure proper implementation of network services.
• Work with functional users to develop alternative technical solutions and backup plans.

Job Title: Telecommunications Network Engineering

Description

The Telecommunications Network Engineer provides telecommunications network engineering support for the analysis, design, implementation, and management of voice and data communications capabilities. Working independently or under general direction, the engineer supports moderately complex requirements involving voice networks, LAN/WAN data networks, wireless networks, and network management systems. The role develops network designs and installation and maintenance plans, defines system requirements and network specifications, analyzes information transport needs, coordinates implementation with other information systems professionals, and develops alternative solutions and backup plans with functional users.

*This position is contingent upon contract award.*

Responsibilities

  • IAT Level II CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CCNA Security
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
