Bowhead seeks a Telecommunications Mechanic I at Minot AFB to install, test, troubleshoot, program, maintain, and repair digital switching equipment, VOIP networked phones, alarms, and associated cabling in the central switching office.

You will analyze failures to determine software vs hardware causes, maintain central office records, run cables, install and service Cat5/6 and fiber optics, and ensure compliance with FAR and OSHA; Security+ within 6 months and US citizenship required.

Qualifikationen

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining structured cabling systems.
• Knowledge of BTS, VOIP, central office equipment, and related hardware/software applications.

• Operate and maintain BTS equipment and systems, including inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Maintain BTS logs and records (maintenance, tests, cables, spares).
• Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections of voice/non-voice networks.
• Install, service, and repair voice and non-voice telecom systems and related equipment.
• Provide customer service interactions and resolve issues professionally.
