Job summary

White Mountain Cable Construction, LLC is hiring a Telecommunications Foreman in Epsom, NH. You will lead field crews in installing and maintaining aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid CDL A preferred. DOT physical and a pole climber certification (or willingness to obtain) are required. Travel for storm response may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• DOT physical exam and valid medical card required.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures per codes and customer requirements.
• Maintain safe work areas and keep traffic flowing on site.
• Climb heights safely using hooks and ladders.
• Use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws) as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to crew members.
• Travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety.

What you’ll do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
