Job summary

The Leidos National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program seeks a Telecommunications Engineering Technician to support the FAA’s Central Service Area - Engineering Services Group across the United States.

The role focuses on legacy infrastructure to future technologies, including Telecommunications Infrastructure Replacement, Small Tower Voice Switches, Air to Ground Protocol Converters and NEXCOM Radios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and obtain Public Trust suitability.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suites.

Responsibilities

• Review FAA databases and draft Site Survey Reports (SSR).
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate with SSC, ES, and Verizon.
• Draft project plans and risk management documents.
• Develop transition plans and resolve schedule conflicts.
• Support district POC and SSC day-to-day activities.
