Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Telecommunications Engineering Technician to support FAA’s LIFT Portfolio and NAS modernization efforts. The role involves coordinating with multiple groups, drafting plans, and generating technical artifacts for national infrastructure transition projects.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent) and 2+ years of related experience, with travel up to 75% and eligibility for Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.
• Eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance (US citizen or eligible resident).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suites.

Responsibilities

• Review FAA databases and draft Site Survey Reports (SSR).
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate with SSC, ES, and Verizon personnel.
• Draft Project Risk Plans (PRP) and Operational Risk Management Plans (ORMP).
• Generate and update drawings, sketches, and artifacts.
• Develop transition plans and coordinate scheduled outages.
