Job summary

North Sky Communications, LLC is seeking a Laborer II for our Telecom Underground team. You’ll perform advanced construction tasks, operate equipment, and help ensure safe, efficient project completion in all weather conditions.

Join a hands-on, safety-focused environment where you’ll collaborate with Level I laborers and supervisors, complete daily production reports, and contribute to high-quality underground telecom installation and restoration work.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• 2+ years of experience operating construction equipment or performing similar tasks.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled construction tasks such as loading, delivering, excavating, and operating advanced equipment for underground projects.
• Install and maintain complex underground telecommunications cable with precision and adherence to project specifications.
• Operate and inspect construction equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to align on project objectives.
• Complete and submit detailed daily production reports to track progress.
• Assist with site restoration efforts, including final grading and landscaping, to meet client expectations.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Level I laborers as needed to support projects.
• Work in all weather conditions to meet project deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
