Alamon, Inc. is hiring Telecommunication Technicians (Level 1 and Level 2) to perform infrastructure installation, upgrades, decommissioning, and maintenance in central offices and data centers across the nation.

Level 1 focuses on learning and assisting with staging, while Level 2 handles complex installations, wiring, and troubleshooting with limited supervision. Travel is required after 30 days and lodging is provided while traveling.

Competenze

Must have a current driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel.
Pass a pre-employment background, drug screening and motor vehicle records check.
Must be proficient with a laptop.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Vocational school training or apprenticeship is preferred.
Comfortable handling tools and eager to learn structured cabling and network infrastructure.
Ability to work safely with power tools including bandsaws, rotary tools, cable cutters, hammer drills, and hydraulic crimpers.

Mansioni

Install and secure racks, cabinets, ladder racks, and cable trays.
Route, dress, label, secure, and terminate telecommunications wiring.
Operate hand and power tools safely.
Read and follow engineering packages and MOPs.
Maintain clean workspaces and safety compliance.
Complete daily field logs, time reporting, and QA checks.
Level 1: learn central office and data center standards alongside experienced techs.
Level 2: perform full installations independently per standards.
Mentor Level 1 technicians on project sites.
