Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies in Hawaii is seeking Telecommunications Technician 1 & 2 to perform highly technical installations and diagnostic testing on structured cabling systems (SCS) and network components. You will work on fiber optic and copper systems, install equipment, and ensure safety and quality in every task.

The role requires reading specifications, coordinating with teams, and applying industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in the field or related area.
• Proven ability to work with complex telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee or assist in the installation of structured cabling systems (fiber optic and copper).
• Voice and data networks by running, pulling, and terminating cables, installing telecom equipment, routers, switches, and racks.
• Build telecommunications closets to applicable standards and specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and engineering drawings.
