Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies is seeking a Telecommunications Technician 1 & 2 in Kahului, Hawaii to perform highly technical installations and diagnostic testing on structured cabling systems and network components. The role supports complex installations, repairs, and testing while adhering to safety and industry standards.

The position requires 3–5 years of field experience, a valid driver’s license, and a readiness to work in varying conditions, including on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of field experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• BICSI Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee or assist installation of structured cabling systems and network equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders, specifications, engineering drawings and cut sheets.
• Work independently or as part of a team or foreman.
• Ensure grounding, bonding and fire stopping meet standards.
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate cabling for new/basic systems.
• Perform duties professionally per industry best practices.
