Job summary

AZ Corporation is seeking a Telecommunications Technician in Marlborough, MA to install and maintain telecommunication systems. The role involves reading blueprints, running cables, installing cabinets and network hardware, and testing to industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2–5 years of field experience, plus OSHA 10 certification. This is a full-time, on-site position with negligible travel and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant work experience.
• 2–5 years of field experience, trade school or apprenticeship.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites.
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client needs.
• Installs cable supports, through floor and wall sleeves, fire stopping materials.
• Install relays, cabinets, network switches.
• Terminates data, voice, coaxial, control, and fiber optic cables.
• Install cable trays above and below floors.
• Ability to work in small spaces.
• Test cables to TIA/EIA level II standards with cable analyzer and fiber test equipment.
