Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Project Engineer – Telecom Macro Structures in Omaha to lead structural analysis and design of Macro telecom towers and foundations. The role focuses on safe, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions, with PE-level review and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include analyzing self-supporting and monopole structures, supporting NPD projects, and mentoring junior engineers while maintaining knowledge of industry codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Telecom industry experience with towers, monopoles, or foundations.
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes and methods for telecom structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of telecom structures and foundations.
• Review engineering designs for quotations and orders for compliance.
• Prepare and stamp calculations and designs within scope of responsibility.
• Coordinate with drafting and other stakeholders to ensure manufacturability.
