Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer – Telecom Macro Structures to perform structural analysis, design, review, and approval of macro telecom structures including towers, monopoles, and foundations.

The role provides PE-level review and supports NPD, engineering standardization, and process improvement. Responsibilities include ensuring manufacturability, safety, and cost-effectiveness while coordinating with drafting and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
Current Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Demonstrated Telecom industry structural engineering experience including design/analysis of telecom towers, monopoles, foundations, or comparable structures.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design of self-supporting towers, guyed towers, monopoles, foundations, existing structures, and related Macro products.
Independently process and review engineering designs for quotations and orders, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and codes.
Prepare, review, approve, and stamp engineering calculations and designs within professional competence.
