Job summary
Valmont Industries in Omaha, NE is seeking a Project Engineer – Telecom Macro Structures to lead structural analysis, design, and review of self-supporting towers, monopoles, and foundations for Macro products. You will stamp calculations, ensure code compliance (TIA-222, IBC, AISC, ACI), and collaborate with customers, Sales, PLM, and Manufacturing.
You will mentor junior engineers, support NPD, and advance automation and standardization efforts while maintaining safety and manufacturability in
Qualifications
- PE license and ability to obtain additional state registrations.
- Telecom structural engineering experience including towers, monopoles, foundations.
- Familiarity with structural design codes such as TIA-222, IBC, AISC, ACI.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of telecom structures to meet requirements and codes.
- Review engineering designs for quotations and orders with responsible independence.
- Stamp calculations and ensure manufacturability and compliance with standards.
