Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer – Telecom Macro Structures in Omaha, NE.

This individual contributor role focuses on structural analysis, design, review, and approval of macro telecom structures including towers, monopoles, and foundations, ensuring safety, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness. Responsibilities include independent execution of standard engineering tasks, customer support, NPD involvement, and engineering standardization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
Current Professional Engineer (PE) license and ability to obtain additional registrations.
Telecom industry experience in design/analysis of towers or foundations.
Strong knowledge of TIA-222, IBC, AISC, ACI codes and related standards.
Experience using structural-analysis software listed in the role.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design of telecom macro structures and foundations.
Review engineering designs for quotations and orders to ensure code and standard compliance.
Prepare and stamp engineering calculations within competence and responsibilities.
Coordinate with drafting to translate requirements into drawings and docs.
Provide technical support to customers, sales, PLM, and manufacturing.
Lead field issue investigations and support NPD projects and standardization.
