Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our Telecommunications Department at our Wall Township, NJ headquarters. The role focuses on analyzing and designing telecom towers, monopoles, rooftops, and related structures, coordinating with clients and staff to deliver code-compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of telecom structural experience, proficiency with O-Calc, RISA Tower, AutoCAD, and Revit, and an EIT certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required; Master's preferred.
3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in telecom.
Proficiency with O-Calc, tnxTower, RISA, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for telecommunication towers, monopoles, rooftops, and related structures.
Utilize O-Calc, RISA Tower, AutoCAD, and other tools to complete evaluations and prepare reports.
Review drawings and client standards to ensure code compliance and design accuracy.
Develop construction drawings, calculations, and documentation for new installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure on-schedule delivery.
Conduct field visits to gather site data and verify conditions.
Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and schedules.
