French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks a Structural Project Engineer for the Telecom Department in Wall, NJ. This role focuses on analyzing and designing telecommunication structures, using O-Calc, RISA Tower, AutoCAD, and related tools to produce reports and drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
• 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in telecommunications
• Proficiency with O-Calc, tnxTower, RISA, and other structural analysis software
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred
• Familiarity with standards such as TIA-222, AISC, and ACI
• EIT certification required; PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for telecommunication towers, monopoles, rooftops, and related structures
• Use engineering software to complete evaluations and prepare detailed reports
• Review drawings, specifications, and client standards for compliance with codes
• Develop construction drawings, calculations, and documentation for installations, upgrades, and modifications
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure accurate, timely deliverables
• Conduct field visits and inspections to gather site data and verify conditions
• Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and project schedules
