Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Structural Project Engineer for our Telecom Department in Wall, NJ. You will perform structural analysis and design for telecommunication towers, rooftops, and related structures, utilizing software like O-Calc, RISA Tower, AutoCAD, and more.

Qualifications include a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 3–5 years of telecom structural experience, and proficiency with the listed software tools. EIT is required; PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency with O-Calc, tnxTower, RISA, and other structural analysis software.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred.
• Familiarity with standards such as TIA-222, AISC, and ACI; EIT required; PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for telecommunication towers, monopoles, rooftops, and related structures.
• Utilize engineering software to complete structural evaluations and prepare detailed reports.
• Review drawings and client standards to ensure compliance with codes and design requirements.
• Develop construction drawings, calculations, and documentation for installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure on-schedule deliverables.
• Conduct field visits and inspections to gather site data and verify conditions.
• Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and schedules.
