Job summary

NewRocket is seeking a Principal Delivery Architect to lead solution architecture and delivery oversight for our telecommunications industry vertical.

This individual will serve as the senior technical authority on the engagement, responsible for translating business and operational requirements into a coherent technical roadmap, guiding delivery teams through implementation, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture and technical delivery.
• Experience delivering large-scale telco implementations.
• Strong knowledge of OSS/BSS, network service management, or similar.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams.
• Excellent communication with client executives and technical leaders.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery approaches.
• Experience delivering solutions on ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Industry or architecture certifications (TM Forum or equivalents).
• Experience supporting telco mergers, divestitures, or large migrations.
• Familiarity with telco regulatory and compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across the engagement.
• Serve as the primary architectural contact for the client.
• Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable architecture and plans.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership to delivery teams.
• Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies across telco systems.
• Lead design reviews, governance, and QA checkpoints.
• Align architecture decisions with timelines, scope, and budget.
• Mentor and develop delivery team members.
• Produce architecture diagrams and executive-ready recommendations.
• Stay current on telecommunications trends and regulatory considerations.
