Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an experienced Site Acquisition Manager to oversee site acquisition and permitting for telecommunications projects across North America. You will coordinate with local, state, and federal authorities and partner with engineering teams to resolve permitting and zoning challenges.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading and scaling teams.
• 10+ years of telecom permitting experience, including right of way and leasing.
• Ability to understand zoning codes and real estate documents.
• Ability to read and comprehend legal documents such as surveys, ground leases, easements, deeds, land purchase contracts, mortgages, title policies, subordination, and CAD drawings.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated knowledge in basic project management principles.
• Ability to set strategy and execute it on-time.
• Ability to read and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement of all necessary land use approvals for a portfolio of telecommunications sites.
• Coordinate all internal and external activities to forecast permit submittals and approvals.
• Act as a subject matter expert in telecom permitting and local market work.
• Full cycle of New Site Build site acquisition subject matter expert.
• Lead and develop a team of site acquisition specialists across multiple disciplines.
• Oversee document control and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Execute Quality Plan and ensure accuracy of information, documents, and forecasts provided to client.
• Resolves complex zoning and permitting issues.
• Negotiate ground lease terms and utility easements with landowners.
• Travel 25-50% and work safely and independently.
