Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
  • 6-8 years of experience managing projects.
  • Masters Degree and 3 years of experience managing projects is acceptable.
  • Associates degree and 8 years experience managing projects is acceptable.
  • Highschool degree and 10 years of experience managing projects is acceptable.
  • An understanding of telecommunications, telecommunications services and / or the FAA’s Customer Engineering Services process.
  • Excellent communications and coordination skills within and across teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously and know when to ask for clarification to meet expected results and deadlines.
  • Salary Range: $71,800 - $112,150

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate telecom service orders for the FAA, including cost estimates, funding memos, and task orders.
  • Coordinate submittals to the Requirements Change Board for review and assessment, and support documentation in the Schedule Change Board (SCB).
  • Contribute to ensuring an up-to-date status in the FAA’s Telecommunications Enterprise Management Tool.
  • Assist the Engineers and coordinate with the Primary Engineer on projects as needed.
  • Track the IP supplemental forms (IPSF) through approval by the IPSF Peer Review Team.
  • Assist Engineers in interfacing with customers and stakeholders to develop telecom service requirements and verify FAA requirements.

Job description

Responsibilities

Service Order Analysts facilitate telecom service orders for the FAA, completing the steps in the telecom service ordering process that do not require significant technical knowledge of telecommunications engineering. These team members are responsible for cost estimates, funding memos, and task orders and other resources and artifacts required for successful implementation of an FAA Telecom services. Service Order Analysts also coordinate to facilitate the submittal of the telecom services to the Requirements Change Board for review and assessment, and support the documentation and filing of the assessment in the Schedule Change Board (SCB). They contribute to ensuring an up-to-date status in the FAA’s Telecommunications Enterprise Management Tool. Service Order Analysts assist the Customer Programs with Architectural Review Board and new facility requests.

The Service Order Analysts use the technical requirements and other information collected, created and documented by the Engineers and coordinate with the Primary Engineer assigned to a project as needed. The Service Order Analysts are responsible for tracking the IP supplemental forms (IPSF) through approval by the IPSF Peer Review Team.

The Service Order Analysts will assist Engineers in interfacing with customers and stakeholders to develop communication service requirements for some systems, and verify the telecom service requests meet FAA requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
