Job summary

Kane Partners LLC is seeking a hands-on Software QA Engineer to support telecom and communications software. The role focuses on ensuring reliability and release-readiness across mobile, web, API, and backend systems.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in QA, experience with mobile and web testing, and familiarity with Jira. Strong troubleshooting and Linux log analysis skills are expected, with exposure to automation a plus.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional Software QA/testing experience.
Background in telecommunications, VoIP, networking, communications, or related technology.
Familiarity with Jira and software defect tracking.
Working knowledge of Linux and log analysis.
Exposure to test automation or scripting.

Responsibilities

Test mobile, web, backend, API, and integrated software applications
Perform functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing
Test applications across Android and iOS platforms
Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and validation procedures
Investigate defects using application, device, and server logs
Document and track issues in Jira and verify software fixes
Troubleshoot issues across application, backend, network, and integration layers
Work with development, product, and QA teams throughout the release process
Support opportunities to expand automated testing and improve QA processes
